The Versa-Dock is a versatile bioprocess docking concept. With the varying demands placed on scale-up, scale-down and small volume production operations, today, the Versa-Dock facilitates the use of legacy, stainless steel reactor vessels as well as evermore viable single-use bioreactors.  Its versatility stems from it modular design, consisting of a piping module, a pump module and a control. These three core elements may be combined with stainless steel, sterilize-in-place reactors, single-use reactors or both. The Versa-Dock affords bioprocess equipment owners the option of adapting to various processes, in alternate reactor types.

For new equipment purchases, the Versa-Dock may be used with either bioreactor type initially. As needs change, the incorporation of the alternate reactor type is already built in. And for retrofit, or upgrade capital projects, where some equipment already existing or may be salvageable, the Versa-Dock’s engineering allows for greater recovery of fixed asset costs.

The Versa-Dock comes with the majority (all the  major subsystems-Temp, agit, do pH, level) of its attributes pre-engineered.
